The symptom tracking app collects the health information you choose to enter, including daily check-ins, detailed symptom logs, pain levels, fatigue, mood, medications, and notes. This data is stored exclusively in your device's local storage — a standard browser feature that keeps data on your device only.
All data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to any server, never uploaded to the cloud, and never accessible to The Informed Patient Co. or any third party. If you delete the app or clear your browser data, your symptom history will be permanently deleted.
Only you can see your data. The Informed Patient Co. has no access to your symptom logs, check-ins, or any other information you enter into the app. There is no account system, no login, and no server that receives your health information.
The app allows you to export your symptom history as a PDF. This export is generated on your device and saved directly to your device. The Informed Patient Co. does not receive a copy of any exported PDF. You are in full control of how you use and share any exported documents.
Because your data is stored on your device, the security of your health information depends on the security of your device. We recommend protecting your phone with a passcode or biometric lock. Do not use this app on a shared device if you are concerned about others accessing your health information.
If you join the waitlist or contact us through informedpatient.co, your name and email address are sent directly to The Informed Patient Co. via email. This information is used only to send you updates about the app and consulting services. We will never sell, share, or distribute your contact information to any third party.
The symptom tracking app does not use cookies or any analytics tools. We do not track how you use the app, how often you open it, or what features you use.
This app is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. As the app grows and new features are added, this policy will be updated to reflect any changes in how data is collected or stored. We will always be transparent about what data is collected and how it is used.
